Shipping Destinations & Methods

pernoire ships worldwide from Switzerland and Germany. We offer various shipping options depending on your location. The available methods and associated costs are displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.

We reserve the right to change shipping carriers at any time without prior notice to ensure reliable and timely delivery. The selection of a carrier at checkout indicates a service level (e.g. standard, express), not a guarantee of a specific carrier. Operational circumstances — including but not limited to carrier service disruptions, capacity limitations, or regional restrictions — may require us to fulfil your order with an alternative carrier offering an equivalent or higher service level.

Shipping Rates

Shipping fees apply to all orders and are calculated at checkout based on the destination country and selected delivery method. pernoire absorbs a significant portion of the actual shipping cost on every order. The shipping fee charged at checkout represents only a fraction of the true cost of delivery.

Processing & Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Switzerland & Germany: 1–2 business days
  • European Union: 5–10 business days
  • Rest of the world: 2 days to 3 weeks, depending on the delivery method selected

These timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. pernoire is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or customs authorities.

Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Fees

This is important — please read carefully before placing your order.

All pernoire products are shipped from Switzerland or Germany. When your order crosses an international border, it may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), and/or brokerage fees imposed by the customs authorities of your destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee displayed at checkout.

  • Switzerland, Germany & EU: Our pricing includes applicable VAT. No additional customs duties or import fees apply for deliveries within these regions.
  • United Kingdom, United States & all other countries outside the EU: Our pricing does not include local VAT, customs duties, or import fees. You may be required to pay these charges upon or after delivery. The amount is determined solely by your local customs authority and collected by the delivering carrier or postal service — not by pernoire.

pernoire has no control over and assumes no responsibility for customs duties, import taxes, or any other charges levied by the destination country's authorities. These fees vary by country, product classification, and declared value, and are entirely outside of our influence.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that:

  1. You are the importer of record and are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations of your destination country.
  2. Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges levied by your local authorities are your sole responsibility.
  3. pernoire will not reimburse, refund, or otherwise compensate for any such charges, as they are neither set, collected, nor received by us.
  4. Refusal to pay customs duties or import taxes resulting in the return or destruction of your package does not entitle you to a refund of the product price or shipping fee.

We strongly encourage you to familiarise yourself with your country's import regulations before placing an order. Your local customs office or the carrier's website can provide guidance on applicable duties and thresholds.

Dangerous Goods & Shipping Restrictions

Perfume is classified as a flammable liquid (UN 1266, Class 3) under international shipping regulations. This classification may affect available shipping methods, delivery times, and costs to certain destinations. Some regions or carriers may impose additional surcharges for dangerous goods handling.

Due to these regulations, we may not be able to offer all shipping methods to all destinations. In rare cases, shipments may be restricted entirely. If your order is affected, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.

Returns & Refunds

We accept returns of unopened, unused products with the original packaging and seal fully intact. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@pernoire.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. wrong item shipped).
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the returned product in acceptable condition.
  • Used or opened products cannot be returned or refunded. This policy exists to maintain the integrity, quality, and hygiene of our products.
  • Promotional and complimentary items (e.g. a free travel-size product included with a full-size purchase) must also be returned unopened and unused if you wish to receive a full refund. If a promotional item is not returned — or is returned in used or opened condition — its retail value will be deducted from your refund.
  • Purchases shipped outside of Europe are not eligible for return.
  • Customs duties and import taxes paid to your local authorities are non-refundable by pernoire under any circumstances, as these payments were not made to us.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred to reship the order. If the customer does not wish to have the order reshipped, a refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost borne by pernoire.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to become active after dispatch.
